Enjoyed hearing from Sen Kim. Seems like an honest, thoughtful man. Wish we had more like him in the legislature. Was interesting to hear him describe the atmosphere in a full meeting of Congress as "scary." Yikes. I would hope for "inspiring," "hopeful," "energizing," something like that.

I’m a NJ voter. I’m happy to see both our senators speaking out this week, I watched several hours of Senator Booker’s 25 hour speech and was amazed at his ability to keep going and going like he did, especially at the end and how he concluded his time. Very inspiring.
Unfortunately he isn't trying to block this upcoming massive robbery.... I mean tax cuts or the horrible CR which Dems laid over for. It was all a stunt and you fell for it

You happen to live in a very corrupt state so write 5-6 postcards in an evening, make a few phone calls if you can! Volunteer at the polls! If the neighborhood is safe (you should do any door-to-door work in pairs anyway) hand out flyers or knock on doors to speak to people! Ask for ABSOLUTE VERIFICATION of VOTING RESULTS! Vote fiddling has been being done by the R party for decades!

Great interview! Senator Kim comes across as such a genuine, intelligent politician. We desperately need to elect more people like him to Congress. As a person with a degree in history, I definitely feel the sentiment about not wanting to live through a historical time. I have so much anticipatory anxiety right now. Glad to know there still are good politicians and community leaders fighting the good fight.

I am a retired Registered Nurse who worked twelve hours night shifts for thirty years. I appreciate what Cory did more than most. My wife and I make snarky signs like the ones that we would carry in a demonstration and post them on our front lawn to continue the conversation with our MAGA neighbors. Everyone needs to do the same even if you attend the big demonstrations. 😊
I wish my senators were as honorable as Senator Kim appears to be. I enjoyed listening to him.
This Saturday April 5th is National Day of Action. Get out and find your local protest. We the People need to keep the pressure on. Our biggest weapon is We the People in masses. If you do not feel comfortable then you can send letters and postcards to your Representatives. Supporting these Independent Journalist helps for us to reach more and more people.

The Senator is correct, the time is right now even if you don't get through to everyone, you at least give them the opposite point of view and most importantly you open their minds and plant the seed that they can challenge and help grow. One common denominator is while people won't budge publicly they do research and think more about things when they are alone. Like a lot of people whom throw tantrums, they fight so hard to maintain the aggression that they run out of it and are only left with food for thought

Senator Kim is a darn good communicator. He has a succinct way of putting things. Town halls are a stand-in for the public square, that's why it's important to have as many as possible. I am glad that he is holding town halls in republican districts, because maga republicans are no longer pretending that they want to hear from their constituents!
